Dan,

This was an absolute laugh-out-loud for real, post. Coming from a catholic/evangelical childhood, I thoroughly related!

As a gay man, I've often said God was the source of my greatest joy and my greatest pain. That pain became the portal for tremendous growth, creating a greater capacity for curiosity, compassion, and awareness of the Great Paradox. "What's in the way, IS the way."

Your gift and talent for irony is awesome foreplay. Like music, laughter immediately drops us from the head into the heart, where we become open, receptive, and vulnerable.

The place where fear dissolves and our true nature has room to expand. Isn't that why we often try to "catch our breath" from laughing so hard? Or is that when we orgasm? Hmmm.

Sounds like an and/both to me!

You called Brian Wilson a Genius, and I agree. Since creativity comes from the same place, I put you in the same camp.

Thanks for the laughs brother!

Joe
